In 2023, men accounted for nearly 80% of suicides in the United States, despite making up roughly half the population. The rate among men was approximately four times higher than among women, according to the CDC.

Behind those numbers are fathers. Sons. Brothers. Partners. Friends.

Many of them were described as “strong.”
Many of them were described as “fine.”

Too often, the inner world of men goes unseen — until it’s too late.

This book exists to help change that, rooted in the belief that when men are given space to speak honestly, and when we, as a culture, learn to listen, something shifts.

We write in honor of the men who didn’t get to tell their full story.
And for the ones who are still here, carrying more than they show.

It’s a space for integrated truth.

You don’t need to be eloquent, have perfect grammar, or “sound impressive.”

You just need to tell the truth.
